COVID-19 Response Update
We continue to follow strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols and thus far have sheltered Good Shepherd Center from cases of COVID-19.
ā
Our capacity has been lowered to a total of 60 guests at any time to allow for social distancing. Also, meal times are staggered so as to follow optimal health and safety.
ā
We are currently unable to accept donations from private and group donors with the exception of new and in-package items. We will resume regular donation protocol after the current State Quarantine rules expire.
Back to Business
COVID-19 may still be at the center of everyone's mind, but there are those who still need help. Good Shepherd Center is dedicated to serving the community to the best of our ability. As such, we are continuing our substance-abuse treatment and medical respite care and adding another resource for those in need: our new Resettlement Program. In this program men will stay on-site while they find stability such as identification, any benefits they are entitle to, as well as employment and schooling. Once these are complete, they will find permanent housing and find their place in society again in a stable environment.
As such, in cooperation with the City of Albuquerque, we are beginning this new service.
